Igobe Tamapo Pie (Consultant / Senior Associate) obtained his law degree (LLB) from the University of Botswana in 1991. He began his private practice career at Minchin & Kelly in 1992 until 1996 when he joined Air Botswana as Corporation Secretary and General Counsel. Mr Pie joined Phumaphi Chakalisa and Co. Attorneys in 1996 until 2000 when he practised on his accord under the name and style of IT Pie Attorneys until 2004 when he joined the business world.

Igobe’s areas of practice are Commercial Law – with a specialization in finance, mining, civil and commercial litigation and regulatory compliance.

He has also obtained an MSc Degree in Financial Services Management from Salford University, Manchester, UK and also holds an insurance COP. Mr Pie has also attended several commercial conferences on company mergers, acquisitions and privatization.

He has served as a Member of the Botswana Medical Board, a Ministry of Health Appeals Board for Workmen’s Compensation Assessment, Trustee of the Citizen Entrepreneur Mortgage Assistance Equity Fund and the Ministry.
