Marvin Thokozani Torto (Managing Partner) graduated from the University of Botswana (UB) in 1998 with a LLB and was admitted to practice in that same year as a Conveyancer, Notary Public and Attorney of the Courts of Botswana. Marvin worked for Segopolo & Company from 1998 to 2000, when he joined Bayford & Associates until 2006. In January 2007 Marvin left Bayford & Associates to establish the Firm.

Marvin has extensive experience in Property Law and Conveyancing, Corporate law, Commercial Law Litigation and Debt Recovery. Additionally during his tenure with Bayford & Associates Marvin gained considerable experience in Criminal Litigation and trial conduct. This experience coupled with an alternative dispute resolution approach to law enables Marvin to offer clients sound and practical legal advice.

Attorney of the Courts of Botswana, Conveyancer and Notary Public, Marvin currently heads and supervises the Conveyancing, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection areas of the practice, details of which are given below. Marvin has served on various national boards including BOFINET and Gambling Authority.
